Kujichagulia
To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves.

In this scene the great spirit legend, Onlebelise and the spirit dancers, tell Imani that because of her determination she has been chosen to receive a magic drum and three wishes. To activate the drum she must say the magic word, "kujichagulia," which means self-determination.
To teach the process to Imani, sing the Kujichagulia song which includes the instructions and rules for receiving wishes.
